September 6, 2012- Newton, Mass.
One of Brussels Sprouts' most unique fashion events was held on September 6th in celebration of Fashion's Night Out. This glitzy and glamorous, celebrity-inspired fashion show was cheerfully and expertly executed by over 25 models from Newton and surrounding towns. They were wearing the best of our Fall 12 collections now in the store.

Is there another Ginka?
Well, of course not!
But I think that you will find Lauren (pictured right) pretty darn close. She is everything you could possibly want in a Brussels Sprouts front person. She studied fashion design and graduated from Mount Ida College. She has 3 years of children's wear experience in Newton Centre. She knows clothes, she knows kids and she knows a lot about fit and trends.
In fact, I tease her about what she "knows" because I'm trying to teach her about what she doesn't know! Like, how to buy for the store.
So, there we were in New York on March 11, doing the Fall Buy and Ginka, who now works on the wholesale side of our business managing a showroom in Atlanta, was there working the booth for one of her lines. And BOOM! the Two Ginkas met.
It was a seismic moment in the Brussels Sprouts Universe.

November 21, 2008-Thirty-nine models hit the runway Tuesday night in our Holiday Fashion Show held at Karoun Restaurant in Newton. The looks were divided into five distinct themes or variations on holiday dressing. The girls did a fantastic job walking, posing and performing for guests and the camera. This was Mia's second Brussels Sprouts show appearance and she clearly had the look of a seasoned professional.
