Sales Associate

2 full days (9:30-6:00) per week plus a minimum of 2 full Saturdays per month.

 

The Position

 

As a sales associate, you will work closely with customers, answering their questions, creating outfits, & ringing sales.  You will also assist the manager with operational aspects of the business, including processing new inventory and merchandising new arrivals.  The store manager will be your direct supervisor.

 

Responsibilities

 

On the selling floor, you will be required to:

- Learn what lines we carry, how they run, and the sizes available.

- Provide friendly, outstanding customer service by identifying must-needs and providing appropriate solutions

- Become a fashion “authority” to customers and confidently express this to them

- Help create customer loyalty

 

Other responsibilities:

- Process new inventory, making it ready to put on the floor

- Display new items in a visually appealing, shopable way

- Help with in-store events, including fashion shows & workshops

- Maintain a consistently outstanding level of cleanliness in the store and workspace

- Perform opening and closing procedures when manager is not present

 

 

Qualifications

- Must be confident, organized and able to work well with/sell to moms & kids

- Must be outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills

- Must have proficient computer skills, allowing for ease and understanding in using our POS system after proper training

- Must have an interest in fashion and a knowledge of current trends

- Must be able to work in a small boutique environment, willing to adjust to changing plans and priorities
